- Kerbstones
- Concrete pipes, manholes and culverts
- Structural and architectural concrete products
- Specialised concrete products
PMSA® has partnered with Kraft Curing Systems, the world leaders in concrete curing technology. A lower cost of operation is achieved through controlled curing based on the principle that concrete should harden, rather than dry. Controlled curing allows for proper cement hydration which provides the following benefits:
- Lower cement consumption
- Reduced efflorescence
- Consistent colours and better appearance
- Faster curing and higher early strength of concrete products
- Consistent and higher compressive strength
- Stronger product corners and edges
- Higher abrasion resistance and improved durability
- Higher density of concrete products
- Reduced breakages
- Consistent secondary processing effects (shot blasting, grinding, polishing, etc)
- Higher resistance to freeze-thaw forces
- Higher resistance to chloride penetration
We offer curing chambers, insulation, circulation and complete curing solutions designed specifically for each customer’s unique product and site requirements.
Our range of concrete curing systems from Kraft Curing Systems include:
- Quadrix®

Features & Benefits
Various curing systems available include:
Quadrix® accelerated curing system
The Quadrix® accelerated concrete curing system enhances the appearance and quality of concrete products through the controlled addition of heat and humidity for a consistent curing environment within a single atmosphere curing chamber. The top of range curing solution available is the Quadrix® accelerated curing system and it provides for the accelerated hardening of concrete blocks, bricks, pavers, concrete roof tiles and other concrete products that demand the highest level of product surface finish. Its benefits include:
- Consistent curing temperature equal to +/- 1°C
- Consistent relative humidity equal to +/- 3%
- Consistent low air velocity equals to ≤ 1m/second
- Curing climate controllable per production requirements
- Significantly reduced hardening duration, resulting in less breakage
- Consistent colours, a substantially reduced risk of efflorescence
- No condensation on chamber surfaces
- Approximately 5% to 10% cement reduction with fewer racks and production pallets
Nautilus™ concrete curing system
The Nautilus air circulation system optimizes cement hydration by circulating the free heat generated through the heat of hydration of the cement and moisture from fresh concrete for a consistent curing environment. The Nautilus concrete curing system provides for the accelerated hardening of concrete blocks, bricks, pavers and other concrete products made on a conventional block, brick and paver making machine. Its benefits include:
- Consistent curing temperature equal to +/- 1°C
- Consistent relative humidity equal to +/- 3%
- Consistent low air velocity equals to ≤ 1m/second
- Maximum curing humidity controllable based on curing temperature
- Reduced hardening duration, resulting in less breakage
- Consistent colours, a substantially reduced risk of efflorescence
- No condensation on chamber surfaces
- A 5% cement reduction and a 1 to 2-year ROI
Thermalcure® accelerated pre-cast concrete curing system
Thermalcure accelerates the concrete hardening process through heat radiated from a pipe network as part of a closed-loop hot water system, located under the casting surface (floor).
Themalcure is ideal for precast flooring and other large concrete elements cast direct onto the production floor. Its benefits include:
- Accelerated concrete curing through radiant heat
- Eliminates condensation and corrosion issues
- Available with diesel, natural gas or propane gas burner
- Uses a hot water or steam heat exchanger
- Effective, efficient and simple to operate and maintain
- Pre-warming of steel forms/moulds/tables/beds
- Consistently high early strength: demoulding strength in 10 to 12 hours for precast concrete and in 16 to 22 hours for pre-stress elements
- Concrete temperature between 50°C and 70°C
Convect-air® accelerated pre-cast concrete curing system
Convect-air accelerates the curing process through controlled heating of the circulated curing chamber air for wet-cast concrete products hardening in moulds. Its benefits include:
- Efficient circulation and heating of the curing chamber air reducing heat loss and heating costs
- Ideal for precast concrete with a high water-cement ratio
- Temperature of 40°C to 60°C with a consistency of +/- 3°C
- Consistently high early strength, which reduces broken edges and corners
- Extremely short hardening time of between 8 to 10 hours
- Effective, efficient and simple to operate and maintain a drying system after vapour or steam curing
- Available with diesel, natural gas or propane gas burner
- Uses a hot water or steam heat exchanger
Vapour curing accelerated concrete curing system
Vapour curing systems provide for the accelerated hardening of concrete blocks, bricks, pipes, slabs and cast stone. The direct-fired vapor generator accelerates concrete strength gain and increases concrete quality through the controlled addition of heat and humidity. Its benefits include:
- Accelerated concrete hardening process
- Higher concrete quality through the controlled addition of heat and humidity
- Rugged, dependable and durable equipment
- 98% operating efficiency
- Fully automatic and low-pressure operation
- Water-cooled stainless steel combustion chamber
- 60% lower operating cost than a steam boiler
- Small footprint, simple and safe to operate
- Curing temperatures from 35oC to 80oC
- Platinum lifetime combustion chamber warranty
Insulated curing chambers
Insulated curing chambers for concrete products are available for all types of curing methods for reduced heat and moisture loss for more effective and efficient concrete hardening. Its benefits include:
- Improved concrete quality
- Reduces curing costs compared to traditional curing enclosures
- Prevents condensation and corrosion
- Prefabricated design reduces installation duration
Curing racks
Heavy-duty racks are the ideal solution for the storage of concrete products on production pallets during the curing process. Its benefits include:
- Designed for new and existing buildings or as a stand-alone exterior structure
- Customized size and layout based on curing method and load
- Galvanised pre-fabricated racks or welded steel racks (shot blast and painted)
