To achieve the lowest cost of operation the correct production board must be matched to your machine and the product type being produced, PMSA® can assist with this. PMSA® clients have seen up to 20% cement savings, faster vibration times and better quality finished concrete products when using the correct production boards matched to the production plant.

PMSA®-FTC™ Production Boards

  • High density, fibre-reinforced, thermoplastic composite production board allows for:

  • Premium boards are surface ground for an even board thickness across each board and flat surface finish which is essential for all paver products where product height tolerance is minimal.

  • Due to solid construction the production board cannot delaminate.
  • Standard FTC™ production boards are ideal for a gantry product-handling system.
  • Optional corrosion resistant steel alloy C-profile, front and back, available for edge protection.
  • Optional corrosion resistant steel alloy C-profile is embedded during manufacture to increase rigidity and allow for low-flex on the FTC™ boards.

MyWood UPplus® Wood Production Boards

  • The wood is kiln dried for optimum moisture in the production board, ensuring it is correctly matched to the production environment.
  • Multiple dovetail joints ensure board strength and rigidity.
  • Knots drilled, plugged and glued to ensure defect-free surface.
  • Sanded surface for a flat, smooth finished board.
  • Treated surfaces ensure longevity.
  • Corrosion resistant galvanised C-profile for edge protection.
  • Corrosion resistant galvanised C-profile is secured with a single centre rivet and punched at ends, allowing the wood to move freely according to moisture conditions.
  • Extremely high load-bearing strength ideal for gantry or curing chambers.
  • New production boards can be used immediately.

Production board treatment

  • UPplus® is a biodegradable release agent that enables concrete products to be easily removed from the board.
  • UPplus® emulsion used at regular intervals enhances longevity of the board.
  • UPplus® prevents mould and fungus growth which increases the board life.

MyWood UPadvanced™ Wood-Plastic Composite Production Boards

  • Patented board with kiln-dried wooden core and hard-wearing plastic outer layer allows for:
    • Good vibration energy transmission giving higher density end-products.
    • Cement savings.
    • Reduced end-product rejects.
    • Reduced production cycle times.
    • High wear resistance resulting in longer life of the production board.

  • Wire brush cleaning required to keep surface free of concrete.
  • Release agents required for easy removal of end-products from the board.

PMSA® Laminated Production Boards

  • Laminated kiln-dried wooden production boards allow for a cost effective solution.
  • Flat sanded finished board.
  • Increased board stiffness due to laminated construction.
  • Waterproof bonding with marine glue of individual layers contributes to increased board life.
  • Production boards can be used for a gantry product handling system and curing chambers.
  • New production boards can be used immediately.
  • Production boards are available for all OEM brick, block and paver making machines.

Production board treatment

  • Boards need to be regularly treated with a wax solvent-based solution.
