Description
PMSA® provides a variety of options for the removal and packing of cured products from production boards into packs. A swing arm pneumatic off-packing system is an alternative to manual off-packing. The system utilises a Davit swing-arm, with a pneumatic lift and two-sided pneumatic clamp, to remove products from the production boards and pack them into final packs for strapping.
The Davit swing-arm pneumatic off-packing system is suitable for a broad range of products including bricks, pavers, maxi bricks and hollow blocks. The system can be used with gantry and chain conveyors, as well as indoor systems with stackers and de-stackers.
The Davit swing-arm is a cost effective pneumatic off-packing system that can be used with VB4X, VB4, VB1X, VB1, and RE600 plants.
Productivity
PMSA® customers have found that the Davit swing-arm pneumatic off-packing system improves productivity when compared to manual systems and can use less staff. The system reduces breakages and waste. A single davit swing-arm is suitable for 1 500 production boards per 9-hour production shift, while a dual davit swing-arm is suitable for up to 2 500 production boards per 9-hour production shift depending on the product types being produced.
